Great location just a short walk from the main street. The staff, particularly Carlos, were helpful and quick to respond to any requests. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. , the addition of a microwave in the kitchenette was a nice improvement.

The room was not cleaned during my stay and I had to ask for a broom to keep the floor clean. The communal kitchen was messy and had dirty dishes left out.

I recently stayed at Hostal Lopez in El Valle for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The beds were incredibly comfortable with foam mattress toppers and new pillows. The outdoor area was beautiful and well maintained, perfect for my kids to enjoy interacting with the birds, turtles, and fish. The rooms were spacious and equipped with a fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. The outdoor kitchen was a great addition, allowing us to cook and enjoy meals outside. The location of the hotel was ideal, within walking distance of everything we needed.
